Who should I vote for in the 2026 Vic election?
We won't tell you. That's the point. But we'll show you who actually agrees with you, based on what each party has committed to in writing, and who's quietly ghosting the stuff you care about 👻.

🧠 How to decide in 5 minutes
- Pick your top 3 issues. Rent, climate, crime, transport: whatever actually affects you.
- Check who's for and against them on the issues page.
- Watch for ghosting. A party saying nothing about your issue tells you something too.
- Number your preferences. Victoria uses preferential voting: if your first choice is knocked out, your vote flows to your next preference, so ranking a small party first doesn't waste your vote.
- Know your ballots. See how to vote so your vote counts.

Quick answers

Only you can decide. Compare where parties stand on the issues you care about, using their own published commitments.
Is ballotbae biased?
No. Every party is checked against the same issue list, every position has a source, and silence never earns points.
Does voting for a minor party waste my vote?
Victoria uses preferential voting: if your first choice is knocked out, your vote flows to your next preference, so ranking a small party first doesn't waste your vote.
